Hi, I’m Lara - the heart behind Nature’s Cure Boutique. My journey into herbal wellness didn’t start in a classroom, it started in the back of an ambulance.

I spent over a decade in EMS, serving from 1999 to 2013, retiring as a Paramedic. Those years taught me how incredible the human body is, but also how often we’re left treating symptoms instead of supporting true, whole-body healing. I will always believe there is a place for Western medicine - I’ve lived it, practiced it, and respect it deeply. But I also knew there had to be more.

In 2019, I began studying herbalism, and by 2020 I was fully immersed. What started as a personal journey for my own health - and my husband’s - quickly became something much bigger. With encouragement from my daughter-in-law and my former paramedic partner, who both shared a passion for natural and holistic living, I began creating remedies for my home and family.

Then came the moment that changed everything.

After being diagnosed with diabetes, I created my own A1C-support tea blend. Six months later, my levels had dropped below the diabetic range. That experience lit a fire in me. It showed me firsthand what’s possible when we intentionally support our bodies with the right tools from nature.

Since then, I’ve continued studying and growing - drawing from both Chinese herbal medicine and Ayurveda - and blending that knowledge with my medical background to create products that are thoughtful, purposeful, and rooted in care.

Every salve, tea blend, skincare product, and aromatherapy item you’ll find here is handcrafted with intention. These aren’t mass-produced formulas - they’re the same kinds of remedies I trust in my own home.
